Cattle Scan Wins Food Tech Farm to Fork Award at 2024 Inventures

On May 31st at The Inventures 2024 Breakthrough Innovation Event (Calgary, Canada), our company was honoured to receive the GROWING UP: FOOD TECH FARM TO FORK award!

Inventures 2024, hosted by Alberta Innovates, is one of Canada’s top innovation conferences. Attracting over 4,000 attendees from 30+ countries, The 2024 Breakthrough Innovation Event brought together entrepreneurs, startups, investors, and thought leaders from around the world.

This year’s event featured a Startup Pitch Competition with over 1,200 applicants worldwide. The competition was fierce, with six categories, each offering a monetary prize and exposure to a global audience and technology investors.

Cattle Scan was one of the five finalists in the “Growing Up” category, focusing on agri-tech innovation from farm to fork. This recognition is a significant milestone for us and validates the hard work of our team. Our story could be a great fit for your audience’s interests!

Cattle Scan is a rumen bolus system that identifies cows with illness early, allowing for timely intervention and faster recovery. Our tech-forward platform offers 24/7 monitoring and personalized alerts, leading to increased milk production, lower treatment costs, and optimized labour. By enhancing overall herd health, we help farmers efficiently manage calf births, heat stress, and other impacts. This innovation is crucial for the agricultural industry, as it directly contributes to improving food security and sustainable farming practices.
