Food industry executive and experienced board director brings strategic growth, transformation, and governance expertise to QualiTru.

OAKDALE, MN (September 17, 2026) — QualiTru Sampling Systems®, a leader in the science of aseptic and representative sampling equipment for the liquid food and dairy industries, today announced the appointment of Keira L. Lombardo as Chair of its Board of Directors.

Lombardo brings extensive executive leadership and board experience across the food, dairy, and protein industries, with particular expertise in enterprise strategy, growth, organizational transformation, and governance. She currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer of Cal-Maine Foods, Inc., the nation’s largest egg producer and a leading egg-based food company.

Before joining Cal-Maine Foods, Lombardo served as Chief Executive Officer of Dairy MAX and spent two decades with Smithfield Foods, ultimately serving as Chief Administrative Officer and a member of its executive leadership team. Across these roles, she has worked closely with boards and leadership teams on strategy, growth, governance, and organizational transformation. She also serves on boards spanning food manufacturing and technology.
